Woburn, Mass., June 19, 2015 – Matthew Slater, NE Wide Receiver and Special Teams Captain, will be the first of several preseason appearances by New England players at the Scoreboard Sports Bar and Grill on Wednesday, June 24, 2015. Slater's appearance will start off at 7 pm with Q&A conducted by 98.5 The Sports Hub Midday host Marc Bertrand. The Q&A will be followed by Slater and Bertrand teaming for a football trivia challenge taking on teams of Scoreboard patrons. The trivia challenge will be moderated by STUMP Trivia.
The Scoreboard invites you to put your trivia team together and enjoy dinner and drinks with Matthew Slater. Admission is free. Scoreboard will provide photos of Slater for autographs and is requesting that items to be autographed not be brought in.
The Scoreboard's series of Chalk Talk Q & A and Trivia Challenge will feature Sebastian Vollmer, Tackle, on July 8th and Logan Ryan, Cornerback, on July 22, 2015. Two additional preseason New England player appearances will be announced soon.
